In this workshop, participants will explore the range of roles ABE and ESOL practitioners can take as important advocates for their students and programs, particularly in the areas of public policy and funding. There will be ample time to ask questions, pose challenges, voice concerns, and receive guidance on making advocacy choices. This is also an excellent time to meet Jeff McLynch, the new director of Massachusetts Coalition for Adult Education (MCAE), and learn more about how MCAE can support advocacy efforts for Massachusetts programs.
